Bin the brush
for pets in need!

On 30th June, take on our hair-raising challenge and
raise vital funds for vulnerable pets.

It’s time to toss the tongs. Banish the beard trimmer.
Hang up the hair-dryer.

Join hundreds of other pet lovers for a Bad Hair Day on 30th June! See how long you can go without styling products or make-up, ask people to sponsor you, and you’ll be raising much-needed funds for Wood Green. Every penny will go towards specialist food, shelter and veterinary care for the thousands of homeless and abandoned pets who come through our doors. And since none of us can go to the hairdresser or barber right now, why not encourage everyone to donate what they would have spent on their regular hairdo?  When you sign up you’ll access lots of free downloads to help your challenge be a cut above the rest. So go on, bin the brush and start scruffing it up!

You’ll help pets like Lilo

Lilo came to Wood Green as a stray. She was in a terrible state, with a filthy coat and matted tail. Our nurses got to work, cleaning her up and treating her for fleas and worms. We also put her on a special diet because she had trouble eating. Finally, after 36 days of expert, loving care at Wood Green, we found Lilo a new home with a caring family. Now, this darling little dog is happy, loved and busy learning to walk on a lead. Plus she’s got great hair again!

What happens to the money I donate?
Every year, thousands of sick and abandoned animals come through Wood Green’s doors. Your donations will help us provide poorly pets with the specialist food, shelter and veterinary care they need to get them back on their feet. Your support will also help us find permanent, loving homes for so many pets who have no home of their own.

Yes, but please check with a parent or guardian, and your school, before you bin the brush!
Can I take part if I live outside of the UK?
